Prof. Florian Beuer is currently the Director of the Department of Prosthodontics, Gerontology and Functional Dentistry at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, a position he has held since 2015. He is also the President of the German Society of Implantology (DGI) since November 2021. After studying dentistry at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich and earning his doctorate in 2002, Prof. Florian Beuer completed his habilitation in 2009. The president of SBCB holds a triple doctorate in medicine, dentistry and natural sciences (MD, DMD, PhD) from the German universities Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz and Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt. Prof. Tomas Albrektsson joined Per Ingvar Brånemark‘s team in 1967 and has since been involved in applied osseointegration research for oral, craniofacial and orthopedic implants. He received his PhD from the University of Gothenburg (MD:1975; PhD:1979 with a thesis on bone graft healing), where he was Professor and Head of the Department of Biomaterials between 1986 and 2012. Prof. Tomas Albrektsson is a visiting professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Malmö University and a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He has given more than 1,400 lectures and published scientific and clinical papers in various peer-reviewed journals around the world.

Dr. James Rutkowski is a pharmacist, dentist, and has a PhD in pharmacology. He has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbook chapters. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Oral Implantology, a Diplomate/Past-President of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), and Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Prof. Schnurr joined Swiss Dental Solutions in August 2022 as a scientific advisor. Her area of expertise is the pathogenesis of the oral microbiome and its relationship to systemic diseases. Clinical research, data analysis, drug development and understanding biofilm-related infections are her main interests. After her postdoctoral research in infectious diseases at the University of California, USA, she worked for 18 months as a visiting professor at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. She holds an MSc and a PhD in pharmacology and medicinal chemistry, both from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, BRA.

Dr. Josephine Phillips

Dr. Josephine Phillips is an oral surgeon at the SWISS BIOHEALTH CLINIC in Kreuzlingen/CH. She received her doctorate from the Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster, Germany. There she specialized in endovascular surgery at the University Hospital at St. Franziscus-Krankenhaus. After receiving her doctorate, she successfully completed a four-year specialization in oral surgery. Dr. Phillips has been operating at the SWISS BIOHEALTH CLINIC for 4 years, primarily on very large complete reconstructions in a highly compromised patient population and is particularly interested in extensive augmentations with a minimally invasive approach.

Dr. Duddeck graduated in biology and dentistry in 1992 and subsequently worked as a research associate at both the Heidelberg University Hospital and in Cologne, Germany. In 2016, he founded CleanImplant Foundation, a non-profit organization with worldwide quality testing of dental implants.
